We’re thrilled to be featured on 100 Layer Cake alongside our sister company, The Emerson Venue. New Dallas-based floral designer, Slow Darling, organized the shoot. Ben Q Photography captured the inviting tablescape and dreamy pillar installs. Keep scrolling to see the team’s work at a new wedding venue just outside of Dallas.
An aged farmhouse table, cane back chairs, and layered rugs combined for the coziest atmosphere. Delicate blooms in blush, violet, and golden hues accompanied the patina finish. The Pakston and Maui rugs brought major warmth to the wedding dining.
From 100 Layer Cake, Sheena of Slow Darling tells it, Mustard and violet tones combined with bright, minimal elements graced the farmhouse table, creating a warm and inviting dining space. The midcentury black framed cane chairs tied the natural elements in the tablescape to the surroundings. We wanted to feature the different rooms at the Emerson so that brides could envision the diversity that the space offers, with both black and white walls and modern light fixtures.
Newly renovated wedding venue, The Emerson, hosted the team’s creativity. Foam-free pillar installs from Slow Darling sat perched on the chapel stage. The minimalist wedding chapel designed by Leanne Ford complimented the earthy tones and brass candlesticks
